Our foster-care partner keeps a shelf of welcome kits: pajamas, two outfits, socks, a sweatshirt. Every kit is sorted by age and season from Outgrown donations.

The kits are given by caseworkers, privately. Outgrown never knows the child, and that’s how it should be.
